I say the college game is better. Every year there are new kids and new story lines, great rivalries, the race for the national title... huge upsets. Look at little Boise State last year, how fun was that? The NFL has too many mismatched and boring games and once the players make so much dang money they are expected to be good every game. I like watching college teams play with heart and pride. Free agency has destroyed the NFL... players jump ship, franchises falter, and kids today care more about fantasy stats then they do about their "team" actually winning... College is the best right now.

NFL all the way. Number one reason is because the league makes sense. All the teams are pretty even if you think about it... some are coached worse, but the talent is similar... in college football some schools go undefeated on regular basis... other teams can't recruit well... so what is the point on watching the Gators clobber some slack division 2 team? When I am watching sports, I want the best of the best. The NFL is the best of the best really. College football is very sloppy and the defenses are awful causing the score to be insanely high to the point where it isnt even fun... Also it is much easier to follow and know the players. It is just far more superior really...

If there was anything more heart-stopping than the last two quarters of New England-Indy last year, I'd like to know what game that was. My wife and I didn't even breathe in the fourth quarter, it was so good. I mean...that was football.
Look: College football is fun. But the NFL is football played on the highest level, at the fastest speed, with the biggest guys. And the field goal kickers can actually make a kick or two.
Another thing: NFL is condensed, essentially, into one seven-hour block on Sunday, and a Monday night game. It's not taking up your whole week. With college football, just to say you know much about it...ugh...you have to park your butt in front a TV on Thursday and for 15 hours on Saturday. And even then you're flipping channels all day, not really watching any of the games.

In College football - the players don't get paid.
They play because they love the sport and they have talent.
New ideas, new schemes, new plays are all fielded in college football - first - so you see new stuff.
You think the 3-4 Defense or the West Coast offense started in the NFL????
wrong!
College ball is AWESOME
The NFL - professional football. Big money. Big ads. Pretty Uniforms. Great information feedback. Interesting personalities. Hot Cheerleaders.
It can be fun to watch - if you're a sports spectator.
I played 5 years college - coached college.
I'm at the Semi-pro level now and I would say as a "participant" of the sport...College football is where it's at.

NFL is way better to watch on TV for a few reasons
1) Fantasy Football is by far the best Fantasy Sports League to join to make all NFL games all exciting to watch if hometown or not.
2) Cause NCAA is always exciting at start of the year but then once your team loses 1 game in NCAA they r already outta contention for National Title, and teams like Michigan, Ohio State, USC and Notre Dame if they're not champs than the season sucked for the team and the fans.
3) Cause NFL has elite players to watch in every single game u watch no matter what 2 teams r playing there's usually atleast 1 person who is amazing and fun to watch

Both are good, but what is even better is getting off the couch and doing something anything. I used to watch all the games then was moved to a job that worked on Sunday and then back to a Monday - Friday job. Guess what. It is more fun to go out and do stuff in the fall that watch TV like a veg head.
Sorry if I offended anyone. But there is more to life that TV sports.

College, because of the numerous offensive styles. I love the NFL, but, really, how many NFL teams don't run some variation of the West Coast Offense??? College offenses are simply more creative, because the opposing defenses aren't as fast to make up for it. College has the shotgun option that Urban Meyer runs, the Option, Spurrier's fun and gun, JoePa's 1970s offense, Michigan's pro-set offense, Purdue's spread, Nebraska's West Coast, USC's lights out, etc...there are almost as many different offenses in the NCAA as there are teams...the NFL on the other hand, only has a few different styles.

College, even though the NFL has better players (they wouldnt be in the NFL if they werent good) in college they arent afraid. They dont have much to lose but everything to gain if they can get noticed. A college player is willing to sacrifice themselves to make the play, where as an NFL player might not want to risk injuring themselves. College is where the stars are born.
