I would say to go for the well-paying job that is boring. There are other people who will say to follow your passions.

But here's why I would personally go for the former.

1) We all go through school. Now that's a right bore in its own way right? But we had a purpose. We want an education. In the same way, we want the money, so we'll take the bore in the working world. And just as it is with school, there will be many things between that you'll find fun and eventually it will grow on you.

2) Happiness comes in many forms. You could either go with the job of your passion and enjoy your work. OR you could go with the boring job and get the money and then enjoy spending the money and living comfortably in your adult and elder life.

3) When going with your passion, you will struggle to make ends meet, and eventually if things really don't turn around, you're going to hate yourself, your decisions and possibly even the dynamics of the job (the stupid employer, your hard work which goes unpaid etc.)

I'm sorry to say the current inflation of just about everything has made happiness a commodity that nobody can really afford. So I'd say take the boring job with the good pay. After all you can either be bored and have a lot of money when you're not working to have a good time, or have a good time only a few hours out of the day and be bored the rest of the time.

I am really in favor of taking the job that you love. Eventhough we work so hard to separate our jobs from our personal lives, a full time job is a major part of your life. You are very lucky to have found a job that you love, it makes life that much nicer! Its so much easier to get through a work week, or whatever your situation may be, when you dont dread it or see it as work. Money is always nice, but a really poor reward when you're not challenged or interested.

I once heard that people take jobs for three reasons: the money, you love it, or it will advance your career. And if you have two of those, youre doing really really well.

Best of luck:)

this may be the wrong attitude, but "which one will you regret the most?" Probably the boring one, unless you have dependents that really need the money. The higher paying job will also net more $ to the government for war-making and bomb-building. Best not subsidize such foolish endeavors until the day we can choose where our tax $ goes. Good luck!

Simple, I would go for the job that I loved, unless you are sole supporter of your family, if it's a second income why not just be happy, if your single, I'd go for happiness also, it's so much more important to be happy then rich, most rich people aren't happy, content, but not happy.

The job that you love, you are there for at least 8 hours a day, so you might as well enjoy what you are doing.

Honestly, money is good but I think you need to enjoy your job. If you enjoy your job that makes you happy. My dad hates his job and he is always miserable and stressed and takes it out on other people. I would rather work at a job I am happy with.

You should be practical... learn to like things that pays you well. That's how the world works... we are surrounded by material things and this is the battle of the fittest...

I am kind'a bored here but there are ways on how to survive if you really wanted to...

How important is money to you? How important is a job you love to you. Can you live on the lesser pay?
