Microsoft XP Media Center edition does offer Power Point, and to access it, simply go to START > All Programs > Microsoft Office > Microsoft Office Power Point 2008. You can right click on Microsoft Office Power Point and select "Send to Desktop - Create Shortcut" for quick launching of the program.

PowerPoint is a part of Microsoft Office, it wouldn't be pre-installed with Media Edition. If you need an application to view or create a PowerPoint presentation try OpenOffice (its free)
