Here are a couple of suggestions, I work with kids and these are not seen all the time - it seems like the weird made up names are taking the place of traditional names.. (ps I like common names not weird mispelled names)....
Girl - Sophie, Lucy, Jane, Ella
Boy - Jack, Henry, Charlie, Sam, Ben
The most popular names I see are: Riley (spelled a million different ways on both boys and girls), Kaitlyn, Emily, Kaden or Kadence, Jasmine, Arianna, Isabella, Analisa.

Nick Dalton / LaShae LeAnne
Tanner Reese / Reagan Brooke
Do not name twins alike or even w/ same 1st letter for even siblings. It's silly

I am a Giants fan and you have the opportunity of a lifetime: Wellington, for the boy; and Mara, for the girl. Wellington Mara of course was the late great owner of the Giants and a standup American. Mara is a beautiful girls name because it shares the same root with Maria, Mariela, Marlina, Marlena, Marley, Maribel, etc... all gorgeous names. Wellington is a noble name with an option for a regal nickname. Just my thought, not to mention they are both unique names.

Hey congrats on the twins. Good luck and please dont stress out or you'll make it harder for u and ur wonderful babies. I went bak to the African roots to name my son and so did my friend. We both had boys. My sons name is Kenyon takin from the country Kenya. My friends name is Zaire. If u want them 2 have the same letter I like Jaden for a boy or Jayden for a girl or Jayla, Jala for a girl and Jaydence or Jadence for a boy and girl. Pick a name that means something to you. I also went for something that fit my child and when I said his name when I was pregnant he kicked non stop. So thas how i knew his name would be Kenyon and his father liked it a lot. Dont listen 2 any1 that doesnt like the names that u picked out because its your children not theirs. Good luck again and have tons of fun!!

I have only been blessed with one child whom is a jr. BUT if I were having another boy and a girl it would have to be
Ryan Christopher
&
Emily Christine
I love the old names.
some advice when naming a daughter be sure to name her something that when people speak to her that it is a strong name. She could be a doctor or lawyer, you would't want her named Barbie or Bambi. She may not be taken seriosly. Also, stick with something not too outrageous you don't want your babies teased.
Good Luck

I think that having a kind of unified theme for twin names is cute, but definitely no Robert and Roberta, for their sake :) My fav guy/girl name combos are:
Roland and Rianne
Kyle and Kenzi
Travis and Tricia
Jordan and Julia
Nathan and Natalie
Wait, perhaps I've said too much! I call dibs on Jordan and Julia.

I don't think the same letter thing is corny but names that rhyme definately are. How about Lola and Liam, Joshua and Josie? Or if you absolutely loath the same letter thing then try Casey & Kendra, Kevin & Courtney or any combination that you prefer. Have you thought about choosing the girl's name and letting your husband choose the boy's or vice versa? How lucky of you to be having one of each!

Aidan and Nadia
Aidan is Nadia in reverse.
Brendan and Sarah
Brendan means "prince" in Irish while Sarah means "princess" in Hebrew.
Ezra and Ophelia
Both mean "help", but Ezra is Hebrew and Ophelia is Greek.
Dorothy and Theodore
Both names are formed from the Greek elements doros "gift" and theos "God", but the elements are in different order.
Atarah and Stephen
Both names mean "crown", but Atarah is Hebrew and Stephen is Greek.
Oscar and Emma (Emmy)
Types of Awards
Peter and Gwendolyn (Wendy)
Obviously
Emma and Ethan
Madison and Matthew
Or you could give them both androgynous names:
Bailey
Cameron
Jamie
Jordan
Kerry/Carrie
Leslie
Shawn
Robin

When I was pregnant with my daughter I had 3 names picked out for my husband to choose from: Addy, Ayden and Cicily (like the italian town) We chose Ayden and her middle name is Marie--very common
We now have a boy too, we only had one boys name picked: Xander ( pronounced Zander) his middle name is Reece
There are lots of wonderful names out there-- don't give up until you find one that you think is perfect! Good luck!
