We can't decide on a middle name for our daughter. We've got a first name picked out already, Ava. We just can't decide what sounds good. Any suggestions? The baby's last name will be Mills.

Ava is a pretty name. I never heard that one. How about Ava Christine Mills, Ava Grace Mills, Ava Lynn Mills. Or get part of your mom's name and his mom's name and put it together. I used my husband's grandmothers first name as my daughters middle name. Good Luck and best wishes to you and your new family!!

Ava Leigh Mills or Ava Jaslene Mills. I was once advised when naming my children if you have a longer first name the middle name short be short, short first name and the middle name should be longer.
I prefer unique names mixed with modern names. That way when you child grows up she will be able to pronounce it and be proud of where she was raised.

I am also a fan of Ava Isabella Mills or, to change it a little, Ava Isabelle Mills. Both are very pretty girl names.

My sister just had a baby and they named her Ava also. Her middle name is uncommon due to the first being common now. There are a couple of ways to spell it.
Ava Raine
Ava Rayne
It flows nice.
