Why do you not want to go home? Is it because of the confrontation factor? I would try not to escape but bring it out in the open with her and then figure out what you are going to do with your marriage, including counseling etc. Some alone time for you is not a bad thing, but I sure would not want to feel like I did not belong in my own house. Also I am not sure drinking is what you need either. Still If you got too, there are a number of bars where you men drinking alone is not a big deal. Sports bars etc. You would not look out of place.

So sorry to hear your marriage is in trouble. Drinking is probably not the answer you're looking for, however you might find a men's group from your local church to be supportive. Have you thought about going to a Christian church and talking with the pastor about what's going on? You might also talk to your wife about going to marriage counseling. If she won't go with you, go alone...it still may help you two to communicate better and resolve some of your issues.
Good luck!

I am so sorry about the pain that you are experiencing. You need counseling. There are many groups that offer divorce or separation care because there are so many men and women who are going through this. Look in the phone book and call churches and ask if they have this type of help. You need other people for support. I wish you the best. I will pray for you.

The real question here is Why are you still with her? If she is in love with another man, are you that desperate you can't leave her and find a true woman to love you? She didn't take your vows seriously and should give you a divorce. Stand up for yourself and act like a MAN.

Now what is drinking alone going to help? Get a divorce and move on if she isn't willing to try and work things out.

OK.. and why are you still with her again? She should be the one trying to find somewhere to hide out! You need to file for a divorce and move on! Having a drink won't solve anything!
