Bras actually stem from corsetry and the attempt to make them more comfortable over time. For people below a small C cup they are more or less fashion accessories. I am a DD, so, yeah- I need one. But it is completely okay for you to go about without one. It's not like an A cup will be flailing about in the wind. (No offense, I hope) I really don't know how anyone can take a stand against it. You undergarments should not be their concern.
After all, most pre-teens don't even start wearing bras until they are about a medium B cup and it is usually after a recommendation by their mother as a milestone.
You're fine...and if anyone tries to say otherwise just let them know that there are more important things i this world that they could waste their time caring about.
For goodness sakes, plenty of people (mainly men) go commando...
I was trying to find a site...you should do a search. (There are a lot of them) It tells how useless bras are and how they are for fashion and support.

Hmm, maybe your critisized simply because a bra will not allow the nipple to show through the clothes, so some people are offended by that. Doesn't seem like a big deal, but then again, I'm a man.

Unless you have big nips or they protrude, then I don't see the problem with not wearing one. I'm cursed with the opposite problem, I have DDD's, and a bra is a necessity. IF I could get by without wearing one, I would, but as it seems I'd give someone a black eye or do some property damage if I don't. (It's seriously happened before, I kid you not).
Not wearing a bra and being able to not wear a bra opens a lot of wardrobe opportunities and bras are expensive.

Definitely... Even though you're an A cup, you still need to wear a bra.. Just think of it, even though a lot of women nowadays dont even wear bra just to feel sexy, their nips would show and its just gross..
Besides, start when you're still young coz the breasts needs support and if its not supported it'll go saggy and saggy is not good at a very young age..

Yes-- I think you should wear a bra. Unless you're wearing a tank top with a bra attached, or it isn't noticeable. And there are plenty of bras that enhance your breast size. I'm small and love wearing a bra that makes me look bigger

YES!! Them nips will show! Not a pleasant sight!
If you're in your teens = you're a flirt/slut/want attention...even if you're not, that's what you're gonna get!
If you're over 30 = careless woman, which is not good b/c it's up to the older generation to be a good dress example for us, not just to grow old and start wearing baggy tees/windbreakers/ugly sneakers/no bras!

Some women can pull it off in a classy manner, (Nicole Kidman), but not always. The Bra can definitely add a huge sex appeal value to an already hot body. I love the small ones. Big 'ol sloppy boobs gross me out. A bra can protect the nipples and keep them warm, (my favorite). Abrasion from a shirt can make them sore. A sexy bra is all it takes to wipe me out, especially if it's barely visible under a white shirt.
Thanks for leaving me with a semi.

Natural is ok. I have known a friend for years who never wears a bra (even to work) and she loves it. Saves lots of money too

You've been critisized because even little boobs (braless) are not attractive through shirts. Not to be mean but they just aren't. I have a friend who is small chested and always goes braless. I tell her all the time to wear a bra. And now that she is approaching 40, all the years of NOT wearing one is beginning to show. (saggsville) . Now THAT's just gross. Yes..I tell her that too. Hey. I'm honest.

Yes, it shows. A bra keeps things from showing through and you can still sag with an A cup.
