is it fair I mean i,ve got a friend who is german and he thinks its unfair what do you think

I love the german people and was stationed in berlin for three years.But I got to tell ya the nazi's were just plain evil they exterminated six million jews plus gay people and others.that's just evil.I've seen the evidence there can be no denial it happened.

I think that Nazism, as with any religion or philsophy, is just a way of thinking. Nazis are people who follow the thought. Would you call all Muslims bad just because a few became suicide bombers? The same goes for Nazis. Many people of the time were even forced to become Nazi in order to save themselves. Nazis aren't bad. Hitler is bad. Brilliant mind, yes. He could have been a great ruler if he had kindness instead of ego. But to your question, you can't group all Nazis as bad.

hopefully you mean were or you mean neo-Nazis. being German doesn't make you a Nazi just like being American doesn't make you a democrat. (you guys do it to Bush all the time)
the Nazis were OK if you like white supremest who despise all races of color and hates Jews. they were just bigoted racists with an agenda. great at parties.
their leader was certainly evil.

Every decent person KNOWS that the Nazis were evil. Unless your friend is a Nazi, why does that bother him.

Any ideology that is based on myth, that advocates hate, and historically has been responsible for some of the largest scale injustices and atrocities ever committed in the history of man kind... in my opinion is the definition of evil.

a german and a nazi are not the same thing
nazi philosophy promotes evil ideas - that the aryian race is super-race and that jews, blacks, catholics, and others needed to be exterminated.
