I'd have to say the Ducks in 5. Sure Ottawa is hot, but just as the Ducks got 11 days off before facing the Devils in 2003, Ottawa is going to come out of the gate extremely rusty. The Ducks have just enough days to get healed up and rested. If the Ducks can keep a consistent forecheck like they did through the first and second periods tonight, I'm not sure if any team could stop them. Especially if they had Kunitz crashing the net. Long and short of it, I think Ottawa will win at least one game at home, and I picked 5 because the Ducks have won every series at home, in front of a sold out Honda Center crowd. Beyond that, I'd have to defer to Jim Fox, who picked the Ducks in 5 first round, Ducks in 5 second round, and Ducks in 6 third round. Can't wait for his answer, but mine is Ducks in 5...

its hard to say if the ducks play like they did in the first two periods last night i will say ducks in 6. But we all witnessed what happens when there not on. They get blown out.
Go ducks!
There physical play will break down the Sens by game three, the ducks will have the recipe for beating the sens

Defense wins championships, right? Take the ducks in 6 , but could go in 5 very easily if the sens do not score 4 in at least 2 of the games. I think that the ducks have goalie and defense experience in stanley cup finals and not sure if Emmry has the game in this atmosphere for a chance to beat the ducks in low scoring games situations.

I have to go with the Ducks in 6. Ottawa is a great team, but they still have the big problem that one line scores nearly all of their goals.
I think they were able to power past the Sabres and Penguins because both of these teams aren't spectacular defensively and they were unable to slow the Spezza-Alfredsson-Heatly line down. The Devils are a strong team defensively, but they have a lot of scoring problems that they were unable to leave behind in the regular season.
That one line scoring business? I just don't think that'll fly against the Ducks, who have a well-established and bloody awesome defense in Niedermayer, Pronger (love him or hate him), and Beauchemin. Plus, I think Giguere is back in his best form ever, so for that, I have to say Ducks in 6, but I'll be the first to admit that ANYTHING can happen this year. Every series has been insane!

I honestly think Det Ottawa was the better match up. I also 3 weeks ago thought any team from the west would roll over the East. Now having seen the 3 4-1 series wins by Ottawa, and Anaheims inability to keep a run away game "far away", I have witnessed the inability of the Ducks to stop the puck from a highly offensive team. They basically get in a scoring race and hope they win out. To top it off, Ottawa's D is amazing (not that Detroit's wasn't, I think they go robbed one goal in one game and it should be going to game 7...but different story).
So to answer, Ottawa in 6, Ducks will win one and home and MAYBE one in Ottawa.

I think I'd like the Ducks to win it more, but Ottawa is on fire and I can't help but think they're just too good.
The number five has been THE lucky number for the Sens.
So...Sens in 5.
