I think LimeWire creates a directory (folder) called Shared. It should have a path similar to this C:\ User Name\My Documents\LimeWire\Shared, for Windows. If you are on a Mac it double click the hard drive icon on your desktop, select User Name's Home (picture of house with your user name) and it should have been created there. Those should be the default directories for LimeWire. You can have it save files where you want it to, but I don't actually have LimeWire on my system anymore, so I can't tell you how to do that.
Note: the paths listed are general and are based only on memory. It may vary some from discription.

They are within the lime wire program itself. Click the libray tab. Limewire is an extremely dangerous program for someone who does not know what they are doing. I suggest you do not turn your computer into a paperweight> I don't think whoever PAID for the computer will understand that paying for a new hard drive was cheaper than a few songs

I am not familiar with limewire but all of these programs are pretty similar.
Find the options settings.
Look where it is pointed to put the songs you download .

Under limewire's "options," check the location of the sharing folder. You can change it to whatever location you want.

Tools > Options > Saving
You'll see there which folder you have chosen to save your files.
