My husband and I lived together before marriage and I'm glad we did. It was good getting to know about our quirks and how we like to spend our personal time. Getting used to living together was a little rough at first, but we learned to get along better and by the time we got married we went into it with our eyes open. I think it made the transition into married life a lot smoother, and if I had to do it again I would do it exactly the same way. P.S. Before I moved in I made sure he knew that I was only doing this with the intention of marrying him one day. I agree that it's really important that you are upfront about that if it's what you want so you don't wind up living with someone who wants different things.

If youve never lived together and you are now thinking its a mistake, then get the marriage annulled, then nobody can order you to do anything. I couldnt imagine a judge ordering you to live with anyone....thats your choice and I dont think a Judge has juristriction to make that kind of decision. If you have committed a crime, then a judge can order you to go to prison.....he cant order you to live anywhere if you dont want to. I think a simple phonecall to a lawyer will give you the answer.

Depends on the case and state on the powers of

Why wasn't the marriage annulled while he was incarcerated? There must be more to the story for a judge to rule in this manner.

Judges can pretty much do whatever they want within the law. They can even deny divorces.

If you're not a minor - nobody can force you to live with anyone . Slavery was outlawed long ago .
