How Do People Take Pictures Of Their Desktops?

Ive Seen People That Have Pictures Of Their Desktops, Ive Always Wondered How Its Done?

Windows: The "Print Screen/SysRq" button on your keyboard. You then paste (edit menu, paste) in Paint or whatever program you want to save it from.

Mac: Command + Shift + 3. I believe that will save the picture on your desktop.

The PRINT SCRN button, and then going into Paint and pressing CTRL + V (Paste).

Mac: Open application 'Grab'. Go to 'Capture' pull-down menu and select 'Window'. You're done.
