I HAVE HEARD FROM SOME THAT THE MONEY IS GREAT AND I HAVE HEARD FROM OTHERS THE MONEY STINKS...NONE OF THE PEOPLE I HAVE TALKED TO SOLD REAL ESTATE....THEY ALL KNEW SOMEONE WHO DID, AND THE REALTORS THEY KNEW WERE ALL VERY BAD AT IT OR VERY GOOD AT IT ... I HAVE A JOB IN MANAGEMENT NOW....I WORK AT A DRUG STORE AS ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER AND I MAKE ABOUT 32000 A YEAR....BUT AS I GET OLDER (38) AND THE OTHER EMPLOYEES GET YOUNGER I FEEL MORE AND MORE OUT OF PLACE....I REALLY THINK I WOULD ENJOY SELLING HOMES.....I WOULD JUST LIKE TO KNOW A LITTLE MORE ABOUT WHAT KIND OF INCOME TO EXPECT

Your income from Real Estate sales depends on how much in sales you do for the first year. The more you sell the more you earn. Best Wishes on your new career!

How much depends on your commitment. Depending on the prices of homes in your area. You would get 1/2 % If you list e house you would get another 1/2% so, if you sell a house for $100,000 dollars 1% of that is yours.. Check with your Realtor for the % the they get in your area.

Your income will depend greatly on how hard you work, and how well you promote yourself in this new business venture.

If you expect to sit around and wait for buyers/sellers to phone you, I can pretty much guarantee failure. You must be prepared to work hard to promote yourself as an agent who should be contacted when someone needs real estate services.

Good luck !
