One way is
3*0 = 0 and 2*0 = 0
therefore
3*0 = 2*0
3*0 = (1+1)*0 (clearly 2 = 1 + 1 at this point)
3*0/0 = (1 + 1)*0/0 (divide both sides by zero)
3 = 1 + 1

How can version of this question get asked over and over without people getting tired of it? Which may be a clue to the question.
We have a question that has been asked too many times, "too many times" plus "too many times" equals "too many times"; three times "too many times" also equals "too many times", therefore, 1 + 1 = 3, this is probably similar to the logic used originally, these problems often use dividing by zero which is undefined, giving nonsense results.

1 + 1 cannot equal three
sometimes things can be shown to equal what it isnt because something undefined has been done, sach as dividing by zero.

to my knowledge... it can't be proven to be true. And to the last person's proof, where he divided both sides of the equation by 0... that's wrong. Dividing anything by zero (even zero divided by zero) is undefined.
