not about "falling in love".....when you're by yourself, or with friends.or you could actually be in the middle of talking to someone, and all of a sudden your eyes are like in a zone, and even if you try to turn or walk away, your eyes keep "staring" at whatever it is they are staring at. I know this happens to most people ! (just hard to explain)

its a way your brain 'rests'..sometimes u get overloaded with stimuli and when u just stare ahead, focusing on one particular thing, it reduces the stimulation to the optic nerve and thus the input information sending to your brain...its almost as if your in 'neutral'..
