You hear about people getting caught because they download to much illegal music from limewire, sharaza, etc, so how do I hide all the music I download, like into a different file so no one can see it except me and whoever uses my computer?

Just move it to a different folder that is not a Limewire sharing folder. And yes there is a Limewire version for the better computers built by Apple. However will this protect you from being sued probably not as what you download can probably be tracked and your IP address as well, so moving the file probably won't help.

You cannot hide it. Info is recorded. Some girl's parenets had to pay over 3000 in fines last week not to mention the lawyers fees which were probably 20,000. FREE MUSIC IS NOT FREE. If you know what youre doing limewire is a GREAT tool, but if you dont kow even the question you asked, you will likely be getting TONS of viruses and maybe even a nice letter frm the boys at the RIAA

Just get the downloaded files off the shared folder.

I don't think anyone will actually catch you. Anyway just keep your files anywhere but the Shared Folder will do.
