To be honest, I never understood why they chose that song for the chorus of a love song, either.

First I'd just like to say that Gym Class Heroes remixed the song it was originally done by Supertramp. Second its sarcastic and its also about a guy who goes from girlfriend to girlfriend. Hope that explains it for you.
