Yes it has. The CW announced their fall 07-08 lineup last Thursday, and "Veronica Mars" was not on it. The episode that aired tonight at 9pm was its last, but the filmmakers did not know for sure that it was going to be anything more than the season finale for this (the third) season, so they weren't able to wrap the characters up or give it a "proper" sendoff.

I LOVE veronica mars and was sooo sad to hear that it was cancelled. I don't think it will be coming back but the network has till the 15th of june( I think) to make a final decission. Kristen Bell is doing the voiceover for the new CW show Gossip Girl so she's not tottaly gone.

Yes, Veronica Mars has been Cancelled. I'm sorry to say I love this show. I had no idea until I saw your question I had to go and look it up! You can go and look it up on this site to see for yourself. This will be the last season it looks like. I'm so sad, I will miss it terribly!

I'm sorry I had to say this, I think it's offical, The CW has cancelled the show due to low ratings. Man I wished the show was brough back for first-run syndication just like PUNKY BREWSTER, WEBSTER, CHARLES IN CHARGE, etc.

Yanked, toast, kaput, axed, nixed, cut, dropped, AND cancelled. I don't know the why and wherefor, I just know it's on the list of shows that aren't coming back next fall.
