You have Hush Bimbo on drugs, Bush a recovering alcoholic and you might think it is the drugs.
Then you look at all the mistakes the Bush Administration made, what they came up as the excuse, and who was in charge and you think it has to be stupidity.
Then you look at people like Eric Keroack, the OB GYN appointed by Bush to oversee federal family planning programs in late 2006. His wife filed charges of spousal rape, claiming that her husband tried to anally rape her while she was asleep. When questioned about the incident Erick Keroack didn't deny the incident but just clarified that he wasn't able to locate the vagina.
"Here you have an OB GYN who is claiming he couldn't locate his own wife's vagina, people I give you the Bush Administration." ..... Bill Maher
Eric Keroack resigned March 29, 2007. When you look at cases like this, and there are hundreds of such cases in the Bush Administration then you have to acknowledge that it has be some kind of birth defect. I couldn't possibly think that so many incompetent, illogical and thoughtless people could form a group of their own, then I saw the GOP.

Stupidity.
Specifically the stupidity of the looney left. You can only have logic and rational thought denied to your face so many times before you give up. A good example would be 9/11 'truth' debates.

I suppose you could be right..... Lets think this through logically and rationally....
Assuming your figures refer to Iraq.... Logically and rationally lets look at it from a historical perspective.... 5 years... 3500 dead US Troops... from a historical perspective this is the most bloodless war we as americans have ever been involved in... This with our Network Media constantly attacking the President and our Military for everything from Violating the "Rights" of terrorists to the treatment of POW's as well as refusing to list the legitamate reasons we have for prosecuting a war on Iraq other than WMD...
If we consider that Iraq Violated virtually all of the terms of their surrender during the Kuwaiti war that alone is justification for the current action.... if we toss in the Policy of the former government of Iraq to Support terrorist organizations such as Al Qaida Logically those reasons are enough to compell our actions in Iraq.
Now lets consider what apparently concerns the Democrats, or Liberals..... our continued Presence in Iraq. From a historical perspective we have barely begun our job there, we maintained a Military presence in Japan for more than 50 years(this continues today) and Japan was not allowed to have a formal Military during that time. Look to Germany and you will see a similar historical policy and we continue to maintain a presence there as well.... you may say OK but those were really big problems caused in the entire world by those 2.... so lets look to Korea..... where once again we continue to maintain a Major Military presence.
From History we can Logically and reasonably expect a prolonged Military presence to be needed in Iraq.... maybe even longer than we maintained in Japan, Germany, and Korea... because in those countries there was a prolonged period of Martial Law at the beginning of our occupation and continuing into the turn-over to self government... this prevented the type of attacks that we have seen entirely too much of in Iraq. I do understand that due to the "World Opinion polls and Public Opinion polls" that this was not done in Iraq rationally this was probably a mistake as it has cost lives.....
In summary then thinking Logically and Rationally..... Our position in Iraq is actually pretty good from the perspective of Historical costs of war in terms of loss of life (To be fair this could be further reduced By Martial Law at a cost in Public Opinion)
From the historical perspective we can look forward to several decades of close involvement in Iraq in order to insure continued peace and growth with minimal interference from Terorrist factions.
Failures.... Perhaps you should say "Perceived Failures" and rethink your own position comparing what is happening there with what we have done in the past taking into account the hampering effects of negative coverage from virtually all of the Liberal Media outlets, these play a major role in forming Public Opinion.... Think for Yourself ...

the 3,500 deaths are horrible, just over the number killed by terrorists on 9/11. many more have died or, are dying of diseases related to the 9/11 clean-up, as the true death toll continues to climb and the aftermath continues to debilitate.
thankfully, we will never know the number of civilian deaths that the terrorists would have claimed upon our soil in the past 5 years, had this president taken the pacifists attitudes employed by clinton or, carter.
