Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here"
Interesting story........ I've always loved this song. It has always made me stop in my tracks. But never so much as it did one nice in 2001. I had travelled away from family. I was in Italy making my way from place to place. I was in Assisi actually staying at what used to be an old monestary. The lights are off........ I'm laying in bed thinking of all the people I missed back home...... and then I hear it....... this song. I get up and go to the window...... open it and see that out on the lawn were a group of about 16 'pilgrims' that had made their way to Assisi. They had a guitar and were singing "Wish you were here." It was like some cheesey moment out of a ooshy gushy movie.......... but it moved me like no other time in my life up to that point. It was like....... like goosebumps took over my body because to hear my favorite song at the exact moment that I was missing home........well it was like a message and I heard it loud and clear.
That would be my goosebump musical moment.

Lots of songs! Uhm...
You're not alone- Saosin.
Life's Disease- Stutterfly.
Hurt- (Both the NIN and Johnny Cash version haunt me.)
Jack Johnson- Flake.
I know there is more, but that is all I can think of right now. Fun question, like always dear.

Quite a few songs do that to me because I'm a big-time music lover, but the first one I thought of was John Lennon's 'Imagine' ~ gives me goosebumps every time.

Its not so much the song, but the way the person sings it. If I had to choose one, it would be Tim McGraws, My Little Girl. It makes me cry thinking about how much I love my daughter.

"Only the Good Die Young", by Billy Joel, because when my cousin died I played that song over and over again. Now whenever I hear it, I think of him...

There are many songs that do that to me, but the one that came to mind first was Imagine.
