i pull all the labels off stuff and then put it away like i've owned it for awhile,i ditch the evidence before i get home.sometimes i have to hide it under the seat of my car until i can sneak it in the house.

OMG! Stormy!
You know what.... if you have to "sneak" things in... either you are too young, or you have a very controlling companion.
I would get help for the controlling companion, and/or ditch the sneaking. BTW... What are you sneaking in?
And why, and from who, and from where, and what label are you taking off of what????????

I haven't had to sneak anything into my house since I bought it :)
I just thought of something, I do have to sneak bread into the house & put it away immediately because one of my landlords (The Cat) will break into it from the back & eat the crust off every time if it's left out :)

Is there any particular reason you need to sneak things into the house? It sounds like either a shopping addiction or a control issue with whomever you are living with.

No husband....no sneaking.....I just shop and bring whatever I want into the house without answering to anyone.

your plan is good, but what i do is just make sure my mom isn't home or near the door. if she is i get a friend to pretend like she owns the item(s). I don't steal but she gets mad when i spend my money on ridiculous things such as candy

i sneak new tools in my garage. once i even bought a motorcycle home and she did'nt find it till a week later,boy did i get the pms treatment.

my mom doesn't care, but if my dad ever saw any of the make up i buy (against makeup) or stuffed animals (against that too) or chocolate (he thinks i'm fat) or the new ipod i just bought on his credit card (oopsies. I thought it was mom's. as if)

well i didn't want my mom to know I went to walgreen without telling her, so I bought gummy worms (didn't steal), went back home, threw out the plastic bag, and hid it in my purse.
worked like a charm. =]
