"Here is what al Qaeda says they will do if they succeed in driving us out of Iraq: The terrorist Zawahiri has said that al Qaeda will proceed with "several incremental goals. The first stage: Expel the Americans from Iraq. The second stage: Establish an Islamic authority or amirate, then develop it and support it until it achieves the level of caliphate. The third stage: Extend the jihad wave to the secular countries neighboring Iraq. And the fourth stage: The clash with Israel." These evil men know that a fundamental threat to their aspirations is a democratic Iraq that can govern itself, sustain itself, and defend itself. They know that given a choice, the Iraqi people will never choose to live in the totalitarian state the extremists hope to establish. And that is why we must not, and we will not, give the enemy victory in Iraq by deserting the Iraqi people."

AlQaeda and the Islamic radicals have made their objectives crystal clear.
A few quotes:
"The operations are under preparation and you will see them in your houses as soon as they are complete."
"If America will not convert on its own, we will eventually become strong enough to topple the government and convert America and her people by force."
These threats - and many others - are backed up by suicide bombers, the indiscriminate slaughter of thousands of innocent men, women and children and the numerous attacks and murder perpetrated against Americans and others all over the globe. There is no reason to believe that if these tactics are successful, the radicals will abandon them after we withdraw. Why would any group with such resolve and commitment to a demented ideology of hatred and domination abandon tactics that are successful?
That premise simply defies common sense and simple logic.

If we were not in a war, Obama might do ok. However, since we are in a war, we would be in big trouble if he were elected as he hasn't got a clue or any experience in foreign affairs. As for Hillary, she is trying to give the impression that she is a centrist. She is even trying to make us forget that she voted to give Bush approval to invade Iraq. Last year when she was running for reelection, she promised us New Yorkers that if reelected that she would be a full-time senator. More BS and another lie. So now she is barnstorming the country, looking for contributions and votes. Bill lied(and I'm not talking about a BJ) and essentially got away with it as he remains popular. Hillary lies too, but she ain't Bill.

We won`t be in trouble if they win the white house, we`re in enough trouble with them in Washington. They don`t care about this country, or defeating terrorism. they care about power, and how to keep it. I never paid much attention to politics until the 2000 elections. I always knew most politicians would stretch the truth, & expected it, but I was absolutely disgusted with the bald-faced lying by the democrats, & it`s gotten worse every year. They don`t have a shred of decency & I pity those who blindly follow them.

We will be in trouble.

Higher taxes, lower stock market, poorer economy, higher spending, greater future deficits, more entitlements, crushing health care costs, more brazen terrorist enemy, less world influence because of policy of appeasement, etc., etc.,.......

No one screws things up better than a Democrat. No more Internet booms and capital gains tax windfalls from the wealthy to bail them out and make them look like they had something to do with the success of this country.

Their reign will hasten our downfall. Believe it.

We would be knee deep crap and sinking fast. Running with are tails between are legs will empower al Qaeda plus give them enough oil money to be a real power. We won't buy the oil but, China will and for allot less and for weapons like nuclear bombs to kill the infidel's that being Americans

You had better hope the Democrats win, then. Because we will go after al-Qaida. We will not betray America the way Bush and his neo-cons did by ignoring al-Qaida and starting a war against a nation that neverattacked us--for nothing but his own profit and political gain.

Here is what i think. Neither the Democrats nor the Republicans know what they are doing. Each has no pragmatic solution to the war in Iraq or War on Terror.

No, I disagree. We are in the mess we are in today in Iraq due completely to the machinations of George Bush and Cheney. Thanks to them we now have to worry about Al Queda in Iraq as well as Afghanistan. I agree that we can't just pull out. That's why I'm voting for Hillary Clinton. She wants to extract us from this civil war and leave residual forces there to deal with Al Queda specifically, and to guard the borders in dealing with Iran, as well as helping NATO fight the Taliban in Afghanistan. That is what we SHOULD be doing. I agree we have to deal with Al Queda, and Iran when it comes to Iraq.

But what I don't agree with is putting yet another Republican in to get this mess in order that Bush has created. It's like handing the keys to the hen house to another fox. I think we need a Democrat to deal with this, but it's got to be the right Democrat who does see the danger of complete and sudden withdrawal.
