There is so much involved for a retail store. The best thing to do is download a pdf file on thin from a file sharing program.

Or search for a company through http://www.omalade.com/LINKSHARE/ that can help you. You may have to pay, but atleast you can get paid as well and you may not even need the retail business after that.

For retail, you really need to make sure you do a comprehensive demographic target analysis and a well defined marketing plan. Failure to do this will make your overall plan weak and likely not to receive any funding. I would strongly suggest you find a firm to help you write it out as this isn't the kind of thing you want to do without having someone guide you along personally.

You need to define your goals, write a mission statement, do a analysis of the area, what the competition is and how you will compete. What are key elements and personnel that will give you an edge? What are your capital needs, how will they grow after your business is up and running, what sort of break even do you project and when will you reach it? That's about 1/4 the list to get you started. Have fun

You can pay a lot of money to hire someone to make the business plan with you, or you can pay a lot of money to go to business school to learn how to make one by yourself, but they are not easy to do without education. You can also find many books that describe the requirements, but you may not understand the book without business education to learn about accounting, business law, marketing, finance, economics, management, business formation, and business strategy.
