In a survey, Carter was recently voted as the worst president in the history of the US !!!
That's saying a lot. There were some real bozos back in the old days, but Carter was voted as the biggest idiot ever voted into office.
Anyone who checks on the history will find out why everyone realized what a mistake it was to vote for Carter back in the 70's. He was a complete idiot on every level. He put pricing caps on gas which caused gas lines. He tried to micromanage the economy and caused 21% interest rates. Then he was so indecisive he didn't know what to do when the hostages were taken.
Lastly, he gave Islamofascism a homeland by taking out the Shah. We're still paying for that blunder and we'll continue to pay for it for years to come.
Of course he's pretty much senile now, so he doesn't even realize the horrible damage he did to our security and economy.

Carter was the worst President in my lifetime. Bush is well above average. Does that answer your question?

Dubba, that is for certain!
President Carter was an excellent president and history will show this. He told us we need to conserve energy, turn down the thermostat, wear sweaters indoors, and practice other energy efficient and money saving methods of living. As a former President, he has become a model of what can be accomplished to help the people in this world. He and his wife created the Carter Center and is working on eradicating malaria in Ethiopia through the distribution of mosquito nets (sprayed with insecticide that lasts 7 yrs.), and the local government is also involved in this effort; Habitat for Humanity which gives families affordable homes to live in (a basic human need), and has authored numerous books.

Look at the figures. About 10 service people died under President Carter trying to rescue the hostages--a good, noble, and necessary cause. About 3,800 have died under Mr. Bush for N O T H I N G except his petty, petulant, childish spite. And estimates of dead Iraqis range from 15,000 to 600,000. It is no contest. Oh, and President Carter did not put the US a trillion dollars in debt to Communist China, either.

Bush.. Carter wasn't a bad president. The speaker's opinion of his "irrelevance" is but, irrelevant. Carter was a strong opinionated guy who always spoke his mind..
