how our language and other languges began? Who initiated the words that form our language? Who decided the word 'hotel' would mean an establishment providing accommodation and meals for travellers and tourists., etc.

yeah... I actually studied linguistics and sociolinguistics at uni and it was fascinating. We did a whole section on the origins of language and how they develop.
We haven't ever been able to watch a language develop from scratch UNTIL the end of the civil war in Nicaragua and the formation of a Deaf community. Nicaraguan sign language went from zero to full language in just 25 years and linguists were able to watch it happen.
oops sorry ranting on again now, but i find it so interesting! we can talk about it a bit (but not too much!) over lunch x

Well see i think our lanuage is not really ours becuase most of it is little pieces from other lanuages like german and french er something..americans cant do anything but eat...
