I like everything about the plans, except the seating in front of the fountains. Having people sit in front of the most original and best looking part of any ballpark in the U.S. just doesn't make any sense to me. If they have to take out 2,000 seats to get the wider concourses and the Hall of Fame, I'm all for it. And right now, its not like anybodys not going to get to see the game because 2,000 seats are gone.

As far as them becoming a decent team, I think Dayton Moore will get us heading the right direction. He has a tough job, though, because Glass won't really give him more money to work with until he puts together a team that can win more consistently. Kind of a catch 22. Also, big name free agents aren't exactly chomping at the bit to play in KC. So basically, for the team to get better, the young core of talent they have is going to have to learn how to be winners without a strong veteran presence that knows what thats like. If they can do that Glass will dump some more money into the team and they can try to build a contender. He has the money to do it, he just doesn't want to make a risky investment - which tells me he shouldn't own a baseball team in the first place.

Unless they're planning to renovate the team, it ain't gonna make a difference.
