Tell me about it. I live in Los Angeles county and I haven't seen a single Sonic fast food joint but the commercials are always on TV. "Sonic's got em.. others don't." WTF? give me directions or something.

I can't vouch for the cheese cake, but Sonic does exist, at least in Texas and Colorado. Unfortunately, there aren't any here in Washington state. I think they make really good burgers, and when I lived in areas where they had stores, they actually got my order right (I hate lettuce and onion...). I have to wonder about the conspiracy part, though - we get ads for their company all the time here in Washington - and yet to my knowlege, there are NO Sonics in the state at all. Oh well... go figure ;-)

Yes, sonic is very real I ate there one time. I think I got popcorn chicken and onion rings it wasn't bad. I like how you can just sit there and take your time to order. They are not a francise yet so that is why you hardly ever see them. I am sure they will get more popular down the road. I never had the cheese cake bites, so I don't know they sound okay.

I hear they do exist, but they are very sparse here in the north country. I would love a Sonic to come to Michigan. The last time I checked, the closest one is somewhere mid-state Ohio.

I was kinda wondering that myself. I live in Orange County, CA, and wondered why they showed Sonic commercials on local TV. I found one in Anaheim off Lemon and Orangethorpe.

I know! I live in Wisconsin and the commercials look really good so I tried to find out where the nearest one is, it's like two states away or something.

There is a Sonic down the street from me-(Arizona)-you've got to love the cherry limeade!

Yes, the do exist. Their food is second rate. You're not missing anything.

If you want more info on government conspiracies, read a couple of Tom Clancy novels. If you're lazy, just get the audio versions and listen in the car.

There's one about an hour from my house (Tracy, CA). It's in the most unlikely town for one in the SF Bay Area.
