It would be difficult to see either a mitochondrion or a chloroplast with a simple light microscope, as both are within the micromillimeter range. Mitochondria are smaller, though.

Mitochondria = ~0.5 - 1 μm
Chloroplasts = ~3 - 6 μm

μ (Greek letter Mu) stands for micro, and m for meter.

The chloroplast and the mitochondrion are relatively similar in size, so it can't be either of those two.

The nucleus is small, but noticeable due to the dense and thick chromatin (which is not condensed into chromosomes).

Vacuoles are actually highly variable in nature. In plant cells, they can take up most of the volume, as they are filled with water. That's how plants maintain structure. In animal cells, they can be tiny or a bit larger, though since they're filled with toxic or useless molecules, you want to keep them small and manageable. So, of all the answers, B is the best.

lol, its not the vacuole, vacuoles are often huge. as are chloroplasts and nucleii. mitochondria is the answer.

if ye doubt it, do a google image search for mitochondria, see how many light microscope (color) pictures you can find.
