My husband and I have recently started watching the 'to catch a predetor' series on dateline. We think it is completely sick what people out there will do....but we are wondering if we could get someone to talk to us and see if there are any pervs in our area. We have small children....would like to know what kind of people are out there and how aggressive they are. I am sure it is legal....right?...to lie about who you are and try to get a perv to talk to you. And does anyone know of good chat rooms....not specifically for finding pervs but just good chat rooms in general.

Do what the pp said. But why draw attn to your family if you dont want to deal with pervs and dont want them around your kids?

you could try getting in touch with perverted justice and see if the will do a sting in you town
