You should change your agreement to something like, TOGETHER you will come up with a list of 6 baby names, 3 girl and 3 boy. Once the baby is born he is allowed to choose out of the 3 for the girl and you for the boy. That way you will be happy either way and one person gets the final pick and it is fair who. You could always let the other spouse choose the middle name so you both are having even more of a say...
I must say I love Chloe. It is very popular but really, really cute.
Depending on your last name Chloe Faith is cute. I personally prefer Faith as a middle name.
How about Gabrielle or Gabriella for a girl? Very cute.
Good Luck! SD

My husband and I are opposite we agreed on Bailey for a girl but we can't agree on boys names. We just discuss it whenever either of us hears or sees a name we like. There is plenty of time to decide so don't get stressed out. This is rarely an easy process. This is an important decision; continue to communicate and keep an open mind. Good luck with the baby's name and a healthy pregnancy.

My husband and I generated a long list of boys and girls names and posted it on the fridge. Once a week we could each scratch a name we didn't like off the list. By the time Annie was born we only had a few to choose from. It was a good tactic because I could scratch off the names that he put down (he also wanted Chloe by the way - YUCK!) and he could scratch off the ones he didn't like and that way we were only left with names that both of us were okay with. Choosing a name can definitely be difficult. Good luck!

If you don't like chloe and he doesn't like faith it's time to move onto other names. We each made a list of the names we liked. We traded papers and crossed off the ones we didn't like. Then we combined the ones that were left into one list. We had ten names left. We ranked them 1-10, with one being 1st choice and 10 last. We did this separately too, without discussing. Wouldn't you know it, we both ranked Caitlin as 1 and Brooke as 2. As a result, my oldest daughter's name is Caitlin Brooke.

Well, make the rules fair. If he gets to name the girl, YOU have to like the name for it to be accepted. And vice versa! If you get to name the boy, HE has to also like the name picked by you! Even Stephen!
p.s. Therefore, if a name is chosen and not liked by the other, the chooser must re-choose a name to be liked by the other! Case closed, I'd say! Both sides have to be happy! It's rather silly that one would have to live with a name forever that one doesn't like! Surely, another name can be found to replace the unliked one! Both sides must remain flexible, as in all aspects of a good relationship, yes? Good luck!

You name the baby if it is a girl, and he names the baby if it is a boy. As long as you both don't hate the names the other picks. There has to be some compromise. You both have the say the name for life so you don't want to pick one that either of you hate.

My husband and I agreed to do the split naming, if a boy, then his choice and a girl it was my choice. We did institute the 3 veto rule. Each person was allowed to veto 3 names. This worked for both of our children. We have an Alexander James and a Hailey Rebecca.

First you should Agree to commit the rest of your lives together.
Second you should agree to have a child together, to love it and raise it the best you know how.
Third - dont worry, when you hit on a name or a combination of names both of you will know it....even if it comes down to the day in the delivery room...dont fret...the name will come to you and you will both agree on it...it just happens!!

Keep trying to find a name until you both agree. Thats what we did we couldnt agree so we kept thinking of names until we decided on one we both really liked. You will know what to name your child when you come up with it and both agree. remember you will be saying the name alot so you both need to like it.
