Because maybe I need to stop talking then. I can seem to offend anyone with anything. I offended somebody by saying the word individual.

OOPS was this offensive? I laughed when I read it. Relax; be true to yourself. You are the only one in charge of floating your boat. Gain some boundaries. Practice saying no. By all means, stop being a door mat.
Where is their respect for you in all this? where is your respect for yourself? This is not a consent form to be rude, more so it is meant for you to be real.

No, it's not. So, please yourself and let others do what they will. It’s up to us as individuals to be responsible for our own reactions to things. If someone gets offended, it is their problem not yours; unless the offense was intended. Think of it this way: Someone says something to you that seems a little off base and could be taken one way (+) or another (-), you decide which way you take it right? You let it go even tough it didn’t seem right and you understand that the person’s intent was not to harm you, or you take offense and get upset.

That isn't possible. You will always offend some people with some things you say, unless you never disclose your opinions to anybody.

hell no people get offended by me all the time that just means they are listening live your life for you and if they don't like it they can ram a squirrel where the sun don't shine. Nope. You can please some of the people, some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time. If no one else was offended...then it is that one "individual's" problem...not yours.

people are easily offended you cant please everyone dont even try please yourself and be happy with yourself and everyone will want to be around you remember the old saying misery loves company it goes the same in reverse another words if you are happy it will make others happy when they are around you
