I was in Home Depot and I put my tracfone in the seat of the cart because I had my purse in one hand and a tissue in the other hand while I bent over to read the specs on a lawn mower. When I stood up again, the phone was gone. It's a Tracfone, so it was free with the minutes, but of course I lose all the minutes. My bad for letting the phone out of my sight for 5 seconds. I called the police but this is not something they want to deal with, and I really wouldn't expect them to. So anyway, I know the perp can't listen to voicemail because he doesn't have the passcode. (That didn't stop his friend from leaving some stupid message about a dog. Poor dog.) So what should I change my outgoing message to? Bear in mind I do get some business calls on that phone.

P.S.
Right now it says "my phone has been stolen but I am still able to retrieve voicemail. The perpetrator can't hear you because he doesn't have the passcode. The police told me he looks real good on the security cameras at the place where he stole this phone from. Anyway, so leave a message, and I'll post my new cellphone number as soon as it is set up. (I know Tracfone would let me keep the same number, but it doesn't seem like a good idea!)
