ok this is freaking me out i was just sitting here doing nothing all of a sudden become shot of breath kind of light headed 3rd time this week what do you think it is plz only serious answers and any nurses to please.

Well How old are you? That makes a big difference in the direction the doctor is going to take to diagnose you.
If you are young, he will probably rule out anxiety first, but if you are over 40 he will look to your heart as a priority.
Anxiety is easy to treat and not life threatening, but cardiac problems are serious......So please get checked out.

I am not a nurse, but this has happened to me before. I went to the doctor and they checked me for blood clots but I did not have any. It turned out I was having anxiety which manifested as physical symptom of shortness of breath at first.
My advice is to see a dr to rule out anything serious. Also, try to stay calm because freaking out can make it happen more often.

you are probably having a panic attack but it could be something more serious such as a cardiac arrhythmia. You need to make a drs appt to let him know but try not to be too freaked out about this.

You're right to be a bit freaked. It may be something as simple as a panic attack. But my first guess is that something's wrong with your heart.
Get a check-up and mention these attacks to the doctor.
