Excellent question. A person must truly hate themselves and everyone in this country to support Radical Islam. I can not think of any other reason. I answered a question yesterday from a person concerned that a poll study said that 13% of American Muslims believed that homicide bombing civilian targets in this country to protect Muslim religion was OK. The person was concerned not for the Innocent American civilians, but the back lash to the Muslim Americans. How amazingly backward is that dangerous thinking?

I've never seen anyone here "defend terrorists". Thus, I could not tell you. I would imagine that the preference would have a lot to do with one's definition of a "terrorist" anyway.
Some may even believe that there are people here in the United States that are "terrorists".

First of all, we as Americans must remember that just because someone in authority points their finger and yells "terrorist" does not mean they are. Many times the word is used far too loosely. Evidence should be gathered against the accused and a fair trial provided. If they are fairly judged and found to have used methods designed to produce intimidation and subjudgation through terror, then line them up and have them shot.
Secondly, by today's standards and use England could easily have said our fore fathers were terrorists because we didn't meet them toe-to-toe on the battlefield under the designated rules of engagement.
There is always more than one side to any story and all should be given their appropriate weight.

Hopefully, a 128 gr. JHP with a diameter of .356...

Edit: To all those sniping at the asker, nationality of those defending terrorists was never mentioned. There are plenty who have defended them in other, mostly Muslim, countries.

Whatever is good for their agenda. Supporting the terrorists seems to make those morons think that the American people will stand behind them. Run away from the terrorists and it will all go away is what they seem to think. How dare they support our President? Solution to them is to support the terrorists and they will win in 08. Yeah right.

I know of no Americans defending terrorists...unless you call me a terrorist because I think Bush has screwed up America...where did the garbage come from that being against Bush's agenda is terrorism?

Awwww, allow me to pat you on the back for being the good little "patriot" that you are.
Listen, little girl, NO one is "supporting" terrorists, and the intelligent among us realize that this little war you support is CREATING them.

I will never understand why 28% of the nation continues to defend Bush either.
