Yes. I knew a girl who was diagnosed with leukemia and told that she would not make it out of it. They gave her 6 months to live. Well, it is now 14 years later and she is alive and well. Great question!! Star for you

Yes I do...my daughter Kerri! We were told when she was a month old she wouldn't live past 3 months. She needed a liver transplant. But 20 years ago things were still experimental. Miraculously...she got a liver in 1987, and she will be 21 July 23rd!!!! And she's very healthy!!!! August 8th is her 20 year anniversary!

I have an aunt who was told she had 3 months tops.... it's been 12 years.

I know a man who was told one year to live and it's been 15 at least, and he is completely cured of his issues.

Yes, I do. My cousin was diagnosed with Miastenagravis as a child. She was told she would be dead by the time she was 18. She is forty now, and she is walking again and working. She also got breast cancer and survived that. It is really pretty amazing.

My sister and mom were in a horrible roll-over accident 30 years ago and I went to the ER to see my sis, who was hurt worse, and she was all dirty and cold, and she broke a vertabra in her neck, but you should see her now, all happy and married for the second time. Her neck still bothers her from time to time, but that's normal.
(Mom had a lot of bruises but came out of it much better than sis.)
