I've used it. It works if you are consistent, twice a day. And yes, it will bleach a towel because it has "finely milled peroxide" in it. Peroxide isn't damaging to your skin, though. It's a fairly gentle cleanser. The cleanser is a scrub and works really well without drying. Use the clearing lotion sparingly. The toner is nice and doesn't overdry. The minute you try to cut back to once a day, you may see that it is not as effective. But as with any product, you have to work the product if you want the product to work!
Another great alternative, and cheaper, is Avon's ClearSkin line. You can still have it delivered to your house - but for only $3 or free shipping!!

Proactiv solution works short term...however I will point this out
If you do the entire Proactiv Regimen on a towel...it will bleach the towel.
If it does that to a household item, imagine what it does to your face. The cheif complaint with Proactiv is usually that it is overly drying to your skin. Products that do nothing but dry up oil don't really work because of one simple concept...if you take away all the oil in your skin, your skin produces more oil to replace it...then you get an OVER production of oil...and who wants that?

I've used Proactiv before and I can honestly tell you that I'm not sure. It may work, but I have minimal acne that I can just as well cover up with make-up or just use a cheap brand. I've heard it works for more advanced acne, but pertaining to my case, it just wasn't worth the money. (ps- if you're going for the $19.99 offer, that only goes for a month's worth of the stuff, afterwards, it goes up to something like $40, I believe.)

I have to admit it helped my face but I can't say that it gave me the results I was really looking for. then again I beleive that the results varies on different people, however it wouldn't hurt 2 try. The majority of people get great results. If you're looking for something more effective I would recommend Benzaclin or Differin but It would be best if you just see a dermatologist if your acne is really bad.
