It depends on a person's prefrence. Many Wilson rackets are very light, while Head rackets tend to be a little heavier. Head rackets have an overlarged sweet spot, though. I use a Head racket and it works really well, but my friends use Wilson rackets. You should try some out, and if you don't like it, return it.

Honestly they are all good, and most of the professional players use those three brands. I've always played with Wilson rackets and they are great, I wouldn't like to change! I've also tried the Heads and they are great as well! Wilson is said to be the #1 racket butI think Head might as well be the best. I've never tried Babolat. You should try them and see which one suits you the best. Here's an example of tennis players and the brand of racket they use, if that helps: Wilson: Roger Federer Juan Martin Del Potro Feliciano Lopez Serena Williams Venus Williams Victoria Azarenka Head: Novak Djokovic Andy Murray Tomas Berdych Maria Sharapova Babolat: Rafael Nadal Jo-Wilfried Tsonga Agnieszka Radwanska.

i think it depends on the player. eg: what type of player, level of play, age, what you need from a racket, oversize, midplus and all.........
i've been sponsored by wilson for many years. generally wilson rackets are great.. their newer rackets are stiff and powerful. the ncodes are better then the K-Factors. Ncodes are easier to use. but get a demo for any model you are interested in.
head rackets are different in feel. they are a bit heavier but good too. but then again do you want a heavier racket?

do not worry what the pros on the tour use. their rackets hv been customised for them.

go for the racket which you feel great using, and can make you play better!

have fun!!

if you can ask about specific models you are considering buying then you can obtain a meaningful answer. Mostly tennis rackets can classified according to their headsize( mid, oversize) weight, balance( headlight/headheavy), flex , material etc.
Both the companies make some very popular models (like wilson prostaff & hammer series, head iprestige), and it would be meaningless to say which makes better rackets.

It's not really a question of "better" but a question of preference. Roger Federer uses Wilson racquets, as did Pete Sampras. Ivan Ljubicic uses a Head racquet, as did Andre Agassi. Rafael Nadal & Andy Roddick use Babolat racquets.
I prefer Head racquets, and got my first one at age 14 -I'm 52 now & just ordered another Head racquet this week.
Even within brands, there are light & heavy racquets -Pete Sampras used a heavy Wilson racquet (in fact, he had the heaviest racquet on the pro tour a few years back), but Wislon is known for having lots of lightweight racquets.

I prefer Head, but I like my racquets heavy. I used to play with the Wilson ProStaff 6.0 (the Sampras racquet) but it actually felt too light for me.

I also like Head for the fact that they are (for the most part) still made in the same factory in Austria. I've never had a Head racquet fail since the craftsmanship is top notch.
