(2x^2 + 11x -6) /(x + 6)

Steps :

1) 2x^2 + 11x -6 = (2x - 1)(x + 6)

2) (2x - 1)(x + 6)
-------------------- (Simplification)
x + 6

3) 2x - 1

= (2x - 1).(x + 6) / (x + 6)
= 2x - 1

first, factor 2x^2 +11x -6

it factors out to (2x-1)(x+6)

(2x-1)(x+6)
--------------
(x+6)

the (x+6)s cross out, and you're just left with (2x-1)
