"for gaining political power" - Michael Savage isn't running for office, nor trying to obtain political power. Though he is quite controversial and seems stuck on himself (as so many radio talk show personalities are) , he usually criticizes across the board (Democrat and Republicans alike).
So, I would say no.

That would be incorrect. Michael Savage has no political aspirations. The only reason he has a poll running for if he should run for president, is to show the republican candidates, heres 11 some odd million votes, if you say screw the savage nation you're not getting them.
