I have central air but I have a window unit in my room also. I can't take the heat I get sick. I can't sleep unless it's ice cold and some night in the spring and fall even when it's cool I run my a/c for a few hours to get it cold in my room

Ceiling fan. I only put the air on when it's absolutely necessary.

we don't need air conditioners here... it rarely gets that hot...a ceiling fan I would use to circulate the air..
It is snowing here today so now you understand why we don't need air conditioners.

Both. When it's warm, we use the ceiling fans. When it's hot, we use a/c and the fans.
