yes I have. I was stuck from running off in a ditch and the dude stop winched his truck to my van and pulled me outta the ditch. He would not accept any money told me I could thank him by coming to his church on Sunday... well I didn't do that .. but did send him a thank you card via thru the church's address.

Yes...several years ago. I had a flat tire on a secondary highway in the country around 10 at night. I tried but could not loosen the lug nuts. I had no cell phone. There was nothing but fields for miles around. I slept in my vehicle all night. Early the next morning a truck driver stopped, changed my tire, and would not accept any money...told me the next time I attended a church to drop something extra in the plate. I insisted on a hug! He drove for a certain trucking company, and I noted his first name on his shirt. I visited the company's website and wrote a letter about this man. Long story short, he was commended for his efforts by his company. I don't know what I would have done if this man had not helped me.

Yes, I was emotionally helped by a stranger when I was actually helping him myself. I was serving food at a 4th of July Salvation Army picnic and I learned a lot from those people are shared some good moments

Yes. I was in Santa Fe NM having dinner with my friends, we took an outside table but when it started to get dark the temperature dropped alarmingly, this nice lady gave me her jacket (I was wearing a sleeveless blouse) I thanked her infinitely.

I had a guy come out of nowhere one time when I had car problems. He helped me push it out of the way, and then disappeared back into nowhere. Never got to thank him. Though I'm eternally grateful.
