don't be fooled by these conspiracy kooks.

this whole "inside job" deal is an attempt to hurt bush, not to find the facts.

all i do is ask them if the first attempt on the WTC in 1993 was conducted by clinton. i never get a response.

I don't believe them and don't anyone who does.

If this theory was treated as a criminal case, we would be looking for Motive, Means and Opportunity. As it is, some people are just looking for a new conspiracy (Americans LOVE conspiracies).

An undertaking as large as the events of 9/11 would require the involvement of at least hundreds of people. And any time more than 100 people are involved in something, one or more of them are going to talk about it.

Our government has demonstrated over many years that it CANNOT keep a secret. That being the case, by now we would have had many "leaks" on this matter if it was really an "inside" job.

Popular Science did a thorough analysis of the events of 9/11 and concluded that they were indeed carried out by a group of radical Muslims.

Rosie O opined that steel doesn't burn, so 9/11 had to be an inside conspiracy. But the steel DID burn due to the large quantity of jet fuel that was spewed about. Recently, when a tanker truck exploded in San Francisco, the overpass it was on collapsed because of the heat from the fuel-fed fire burned the steel supports and caused them to melt.

Rosie is a nut and is oblivious to the fact that steel is not a single element like lead of gold. It is a composite, which includes iron and carbon. In order to make steel the foundry has to heat the mixture until it becomes molten. It is then poured. There's only one way to get molten steel, and that's by burning it.

There are many false assertions in the conspiracy theories that have been advanced, and some of those who are advancing these theories are making a LOT of money.

I did not ever second guess the official theory of the 9/11 collapse until I saw a movie called "Loose Change" in 2006. After seeing that I really begin to think about it and have some reservations regarding the official line on what occurred that day. The way things are broken down in that film it does seem plausible that something other than the official line happened. One more thing I really don't understand when people write off the possibility that others than the ones blamed were involved, think about it what is the likelihood that a handful of terrorists could board, commander, and fly planes into building in a synchronized attack without detection or being stopped by the air defenses we have in place.

I try to stay away from either side. I think it's always a mixture of both sides of the story. So for my, it's the degree with which I believe the "conspiracy theories". I have one friend who totally agrees, and another who is partial like me, and many who could care less (sad state of our generation, but you'll find many people think this way)
Personally, I don't that the gov went and "pretended" to kill hundreds of people. It just isn't reasonable to me. I believe that sadly, many of those people did die in a tragic hostle take over. What I believe the gov might be hiding (if anything) are the mistakes that lead up to 9/11. I think it was all accidental, no one intentionally ignores a threat that will potentially kill many many people, but, mistakes were made, and everyone plays the blame games, and lies come pouring out.

For the 9/11 conspiracy to make any kind of sense requires one to turn a blind eye, a deaf ear and a closed mind to a mountain of evidence. Sure, watch "Loose Change" and see what you think, but also check out "Screw Loose Change," (http://www.lolloosechange.co.nr/ ) an alternate version of the film which very intelligently examines the factual claims of the 9/11 conspiracy theorists point by point.

I think it is good to ask questions like this: It keeps the American people open to any possible corruption in the Government.

However, in this matter, the evidence points towards terrorists that committed these horrible acts. Osama Bin Laden had been tried to destroy the twin towers before, and he finally succeeded.

Yes, there have been conspiracy theories and cover-ups in the US governments past, such as the JFK assassination, but this goes way beyond conspiracy theories, this was a horrible act committed by terrorists who hate America.

Pretty much anything can be written off as a conspiracy theory... the real question should be "How many of you believe everything the government tells you about 9/11"

I don't. If it was a conspiracy. How many people would it take to get all the damage done, without anyone of them speaking out? How many spoke with loved ones by cell phone, you going to tell them, they weren't real conversations.
There have been conspiracies from the beginning of time and they will go on till the end of times.
Remember the bridge in California recently that caught fire and collapsed from the fire. By what the conspiracy theorist believe, that bridge shouldn't of collapsed.

There have been nut jobs complaining about conspiracy theory since Columbus came back from the New World. Entertainment value.

I cannot see that it was a conspiracy. What would be the aim of this? Why would a Government want to kill its own citizens? I only know of one person who thought it was a conspiracy. He had read an article and was obviously taken in but he is not the brightest star in the universe by any stretch of the imagination.

I believe the post 9/11 theories. That a bunch of greedy S.O.B.s used the event and started a needless war so that they could tap into $100's of billions of US tax payer dollars in Iraq contracts. And all for nothing.

No Iraq 9/11 connection, and no WMD's, just fear and war profits for Bush and Cheney's cronies. Seen Halliburton's stock price and profits since the war began. Just the tip of the iceberg..
