everything you say just always happens to be "the wrong thing" ?

Oh ya, all the time. It just happens, especially when you have strong opinions, few people agree with me, I was seriously thinking about having my mouth wired shut, and then I was like SCREW THAT! how am I gonna get the pizza in. LOL.

Yes, when I talk to my brother who is the middle son, I am the youngest. Nothing I say to him goes without some type of remark or sarcasm. He even turns complements and nice gestures towards him I make into " I said the wrong thing". He corrects everything I say, even before I finish a statement. I love my brother very much though. My best friend is almost exactly the same way. Love him to. My wife has heard both sides of the conversations and doesn't understand where on earth they are coming from. I admit, I do say the wrong things sometimes, more than I care to, but everyday I try to work on that by cultivating virtue and thinking before I speak. I hope I didn't say the wrong thing. :)

ya ive been told by doctors that i think that because my self esteem is shakey but you never know till you try never be afraid to speak your mind even if your wrong

Yeah, that's why I keep trying it out until I find someone to agree with me, and then I have a coffee/tea with him/her.

maybe the peopel you're talking to just like to make you feel stupid. people are condescending when they're jealous
