Yes, as sad as that is. Four days before my 24 birthday I had my first child. Labor was awful and I was off kilter for ever after, but on my birthday I came downstairs and my mother was waiting for me with a gift...I looked at her quite shocked and said "Mom, you've bought the baby enough already, he doesn't need anymore gifts" I totally forget it was my birthday and the gift was for me!

Almost every year, mine beeing on December 26th, the day after Christmas. We are usually so tired by the holidays and so sick of food we don't even have any desire for more celebration. Me more than anybody else.
