It seems that America has caught Idol Live again proving that the show is very fixed. To figure out who will win next year just look at the past winners. This year it had to be a black female to keep everyone from crying about the race card. Oh well, it looks like the little spoon fed rich girl with all of her practice is going to make some of Idol's producers wealthy. Thank God for reality, like watching Kelly and Carrie doing grate things with their talents. Good luck when the real world smakes your behind Jordin. Surely your daddy and his money will be there to pick you up. By the way, remember when you used to tour with Michael W. Smith and God? What a shame to see another one leave the fold.

every year they have a song they write for the person who wins American Idol to release as their first solo.... usually both finalists sing that same song on the final competition night...

and also this year wasn't there some kind of song writing competition for that song...

I think the race card does come into play with this year and I have heard Ryan slip a million times this season. Maybe he's tired of the show or something and maybe he does want to show that its fixed but he bound by contract. Now what I meant by the race card being played is that Jordin is Bi-racial. She is neither black or white she is mixed. As far as all of her money and privilege I don't think that really makes a difference in a singing competition. Even though she may have had singing classes and special training I feel that she is still the most genuine performer on the show. She doesn't act like a super star or a diva. That is why she deserves to win. Now what was the question?

Both she and Blake sang the song that won the song-writing contest -- "This Is My Now" -- that's what he was referring to.

Regardless of her privileged upbringing, the girl has a remarkable voice that will only get better with training.

Blake is sweet and VERY talented; he has good pitch but somewhat limited range, plus his voice is not unique (hence his singing two Maroon 5 songs this season). His beat-boxing is incredible and I am amazed every week, but it is a singing competition.
