there is a house one block away from my parents'. i never saw any lights coming out of the house every time i passed by; ok, maybe a couple times, but very dim. i also noticed that there was a SUV always parked on the driveway, and it seems never be moved. the house is decent, but very old. i can see it have been fixed for a long time and it reminds me some houses in the horror movies.
i asked my parents about the house. they said they don't know anything about it and neither about its owners.
i really want to know what's inside of the house and the house owners. do you think there are vampires or something else inside?

My guess is that the house is occupied by very ordinary, mundane individuals such as myself and the people I know.
But I understand your curiosity--there was a house not far from where I lived many years ago that was so old that it had working shutters (as opposed to the decorative ones on modern houses), and one room on the second floor was always shuttered. I always wondered why, and my curiosity was never satisfied--nor will it ever be, because the house was demolished fifteen or more years ago.
By the way, I was a married woman with two children when this house piqued my curiosity.

Do you notice half of the people who end up dying in the movies, had a problem keeping to themselves?!
