When I was dating my husband one night we stayed on the phone from 8pm to 7am. We only got off then because we had to go to work . . .
The next night we went out and he proposed. =)

When I was a freshman in college, my boyfriend stayed in my hometown, 3 hours away. We would sit on the phone and talk to each other, have conversations with our families, eat dinner, do homework, all while on the phone together. We were pathetic lol

8 hours. I was in the 7th grade. We didn't have call waiting. When my mother got home I wasn't allowed to use the phone for more than 30 minutes at a time.

About eight hours with a friend of mine who I'd let drift away from me. I was scared when I called her that she wouldn't want to talk to me, but our friendship goes deeper than I'd thought at the time. These days we don't talk much simply because we are adults with busy lives and we live across the country from each other, but I know that I am in her thoughts as she is also in mine.
