i personally think that 16 year olds should NOT have the right to vote (even though im 15) but what do you think and why? please explain your answer!

I think everyone should be allowed to vote who can pass an exam on the political system and process, and prove that they actually understand all the issues involved ... that would allow in a few 16 yos and younger, but would disqualify a lot of adults.
Voting is a privilege that a lot of people don't deserve.

No. I think 18 is a fair age, even though a lot of 18 year olds are still not mature or informed enough to make the right decision. Most of those however, probably won't get out and vote anyhow.

No. With all due respect to the 16 year olds reading this, they have neither the experience or judgement to decide who will lead the free world. It's not their fault. It's just where they are developmentally. I wasn't capable of casting a sound vote when I was 16, either.

not really. im 14. but i think a lot of 16 year olds still arent mature enough to vote. im not saying all 16 year olds are immature but theres some people out there that i dont think should be able to vote. there are like people who ate way older then 18 who are really immature too. but no i dont think 16 year olds should vote :]

No, In fact most 16 year olds should not be allowed to drive either. I said most...There are some good 16 year old drivers out there.
