If you are a female, it may very well hurt the first time you have sex, because women are born with a protective film inside their vagina that is broken when a penis enters them.
This is natural and nothing to worry about; the amount of pain iis different for everyone, and usually there is some blood. Do not push yourself; if it hurts too much stop. And always go slow on your first time.
After the first time (and maybe the second or so, if your hymen is not fully broken the firs time around) there should n be any pain when you have sex. If there ever is, then that means there is a problem and you shoul stop or try something different.

It does for some and not for others. For some, it's unbearable and for others, it's no big deal. For me, it wasn't that bad. It felt like a pinch with a little pressure and that was it. A lot of it depends on if you still have a hymen or not and your prior sexual experience....meaning if your guy has been fingering you....that could stretch your hymen or if you masterbate, that can help, too. If you're a virgin in every way (meaning no masterbation or fingering), then it may hurt more. No one can tell you that for YOU it will or won't hurt. Also, lubrication is key!! If you're not wet enough, it'll hurt more!
