There's a movie, I believe from the nineties, can anyone identify it?

I found the movie slightly traumatizing, because I was like ten when I caught the end of it, but anyhow, this is all I remember of it:

There were two girls who had done something wrong, and one of them was so overcome with guilt that she jumps off the roof of her apartment building into a pool that is empty, thus killing herself.

I am aware that this is extremely vague, but if you have any idea of what movie it is, I would love to know. Thanks for reading this!

oh my gosh..i totally remember that scene too cause it was traumatizing. weren't the girls at a run-down motel where one of them does it? and there's a dramatic rock song playing? i remember the scene, but not the actual movie...i'll let you know if it pops into my head.
okay wait, i think the movie was about two girls who accidentally hit like a homeless dude or something with their car. So they hide the body (bury it somewhere random or something). Then the whole movie, they are worried someone is going to find out and one girl feels incredibly guilty. Then they see a story on the news about how the police found the body, and they feel sooo guilty. I know it kinda sounds like "i know what you did last summer" but this movie wasn't a horror movie. It was more like a drama. Is this the movie you're talking about? Sorry, I don't remember the title.
By the way, I'm still trying to figure out the title of the movie, but if I remember correctly, it might have been one of those made-for-TV movies. I'll let you know if it comes to me...
